Freezing conditions decimated this weekend’s racing – now Betfair punters fear that next Sunday’s action at Kempton may be unable to go ahead…

The Betfair “Will Racing Go Ahead?” market predicts bad news with Kempton available at even money on Betfair to race on Boxing Day.

The meeting is currently [2.0] to be abandoned without a race being run.

Betfair spokesman Tony Calvin commented: “The market is very lightly-traded at this stage, and is sure to fluctuate dramatically in the coming days.

“But the current betting suggests that the meeting is only 50-50, at best, to take place.”
