The Munster National is the feature race on todays jumps card at Limerick.
Two selections over the sticks at Limerick and one on the level at the Curragh……..
“She’s Our Mark looks to have an excellent chance to make up for those narrow defeats here”
Big Game Hunter (14.30) was admittedly unlucky to have a maiden hurdle at Clonmel taken off him in the steward’s room on his reappearance, but the opening novice event at Limerick looks a far more competitive heat and his suspect jumping looks certain to come under closer scrutiny. He has a bit to find with several of these on Timeform ratings, notably Bideford Legend and Drumfire, so looks worth opposing in the place market.
She’s Our Mark (16.15) is a most likeable and consistent mare, who has arguably been unlucky not to win even more races this season, beaten a short head when runner-up here and at Gowran the last twice. She’s Our Mark looks to have an excellent chance to make up for those narrow defeats here.
Agus A Vic (16.35) is amongst the outsiders for the Ladbrokes.com Munster National and it’s difficult to figure out as to why given what he achieved in a relatively light campaign last term, winning a hunter at Down Royal before a very good fifth in the Irish Grand National. A recent spin over hurdles at Navan should have put him spot on for this fitness wise and Andrew Thornton takes off a handy 3 lb.
