Will you lay Shirocco Star at Newbury?

Today’s Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Stratford, Newbury and Aintree.

We start at Stratford in their 14:50 2m3f Hcap Hrd where Grandads Horse has been backed from [2.72] in to [2.32]. The five-year-old gelding completed a hat-trick over timber when winning readily at Uttoxeter earlier this month over similar ground and distance and has the look of a progressive sort. Trainer Charlie Longsdon continues to have his string in tremendous form and jockey Kielan Woods again takes off 7lb, which is sure to be helpful on his handicap debut. The money suggests a mark of 122 won’t prevent the four-timer.
