Doubts about the ground have forced Workforce’s price out

With well-publicised fears about the firm ground, Workforce is out to [2.76] on Betfair to win the Breeders’ Cup Turf.

Betfair spokesman Tony Calvin commented: “Zenyatta has been a small-stakes punt from [4.0] to [3.3] in the last 24 hours.

“However, while the wildly popular Zenyatta is clearly set to go off at short odds on the US Tote, it is doubtful whether Betfair customers will be similarly entranced.

“I think the layers will be out to get her on the day, so expect her Betfair starting price to be around the [3.0] mark – or possibly bigger.”
